A longboard, often confused with a skateboard, consists of a long wooden board with wide metal trucks and larger wheels. Where skateboards have mostly similar shapes, longboards come in a variety of shapes and sizes depending on what you do with it. Longer and more flexible boards will be use more on flat terrain while shorter and stiffer boards will be used for speed and going down a hill.
